Have since moved vets. Our experience with Medivet Crouch end was difficult to say the very least. Conflicting advice from different vets. Quick to medicate with little to no explanation or consideration for root causes. I will say that reception staff are doing their best but it did feel like their were a number of internal issues continuously affecting the treatment of our animal. I would not return to this branch of Medivet ever.

Lack of humanity during a sensitive emergency. Earlier today my sister-in-law who has just had a baby (with a traumatic birth) had a very urgent need to use the bathroom on Christmas Eve. We had been on a walk for my brother’s birthday. The cafe nearby was shut and there were no nearby local toilets. We went into the vet to ask if she could use their toilet. She was in tears because she was embarrassed, distressed and in pain. Her newborn was outside with my brother crying. They refused to let her use the toilet and stood and watched as she had to empty her bowels in her underwear in front of them. It was awful and I just cannot understand how people who are supposed to provide care to animals can have such little humanity.
